Special Events
On March 6, 2003, the Bryn Mawr Hound Show Association held their first winter dinner. More than 180 hound and hunt enthusiasts braved icy roads to visit Radnor Hunt and honor Mrs. Nancy Hannum, then MFH of Mr. Stewart's Cheshire Foxhounds. The black tie dinner honored Mrs. Hannum for her lifelong contributions to hounds, hunting, and conservation efforts. Mrs. Hannum's stepfather, Plunket Stewart, was one of the founders of the Bryn Mawr hound show. Although she has since retired as MFH, Mrs. Hannum had been MFH of the Cheshire pack since 1945, making her one of the longest serving MFHs of an MFHA recognized hunt.

Shown here at the gala are Mrs. Hannum and Terry Griffin, MFH Radnor Hunt, and president of the Bryn Mawr Hound Show Association.
